Great seat!

This seat is not the “Super Touring” or “LowDown Seat”. The box it states: Mustang 79646 08-up FLHR/X/T/TR Heated “Vintage” touring seat. Made in USA.
I Recently installed this seat on my 2012 Electra Glide Ultra Limited FLHTK, and I could not be happier!
This seat fits me! While sitting on the mustang seat I naturally sit all the way to the backstop. On the stock seat if I wanted to sit all the way back I would have to scoot back about an inch or two. I am 5’9” with a 32-inch jean length and this seat fits me like a glove. Very solid seat, very rigid. Makes the hole bike feel more stable while riding and especially when coming to a stop. It is a little narrower in the front than the stock seat so it does not spread my legs out as far as the stock seat did. When I stop, my feet go to the ground in a more natural position. It feels like I am wearing the motorcycle.
The marine grade vinyl seems to be softer and of much better quality than the stock seat.
The foam padding is very dense. Does not have much give to it, feels a little hard at first but after a few minutes you don’t want to get off.
As for the heating elements, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get hot on the high setting; then you may want to switch to the low setting. It gets very, very warm.
I cannot tell if there is any difference in seat height. If there is it is very minor. I can flat foot the bike with either seat. The nose on the stock seat did rub the paint on the tank making it dull; and is not covered by the new seat, but a little Color Back wax took care of that.

Review of the: Slipstreamer - S-135-10DS - Replacement Windshield
This is my review of the: Slipstreamer - S-135-10DS - Replacement Windshield 10 inch - Dark Smoke, recently installed on my 2012 Electra Glide Ultra Limited FLHTK.
I compared measurements of my stock 12” windshield and Slipstreamer 10 inch from the top of the center mounting hole, to the top of the windshield. The Slipstreamer 10 inch is 2-1/8” shorter than my stock windshield.
The stock windshield did a great job blocking the wind and rain from me head. I could ride using only my prescription eye glasses.
With the Slipstreamer - S-135-10DS the wind hits me right at the very top of the helmet. I can “still” ride using only my prescription eye glasses. Haven’t tried it in the rain yet.
I am 5’9” with 32” jean length and I ride while looking over this windshield with no problem.
The wind shield is on the dark side but would be fine in the daytime if you wanted to squat down and look through it.
Love this windshield!
