Echo CS-4600-Good, Light weight chainsaw
2 of 2 found this helpful I wanted a good running, light weight chainsaw and this model has pretty good power for it's size. It's balanced well so it handles easy. It also starts easy, runs up to speed smoothly and idles like it should. The oiler works good and it's easy to adjust the flow. The anti-vibration features work well and the hands don't get numb as with some saws. It has more power and runs better than the Husky 40 I had. It doesn't have the power of my Homelite XL12's but the muffler has a spark arrestor and is much more quiet which is nice. You can't muscle it through cuts but it works real well for limbing and light cutting. This one has an 18" bar with a cutting lenght of about 17". The saw will handle a 20" bar but I think the 18" is best. I have 4 bigger saws for heavy cutting of firewood so I use this for light duty work and as a camp/backup saw. I wouldn't want to cut a lot of big wood with it but it would work fine for a pickup load of 8-10" rounds. I like the bigger saws for most cutting because their faster but I still take this along because it's just plain fun to use.

Very good trilogy
Nora Roberts at her best. Stories of three witches and their loves as they struggle to protect their island and themselves from evil. Nora adds a 4th male witch in the final book to add special spice to the whole mix and help tie everything together.
