0 of 1 found this helpful So far it is very good at what it should be good at which is cutting cable. It does that well and cables are cut cleanly.
However, it is a bit unwieldy in that, to get the cutting jaws opened wide enough (especially when cutting housing), the grip has to be extended pretty far out, if that makes any sense. I have big hands and even so the cutters aren't what I would call easy to handle and use. Also the springy open assist mechanism isn't all that great. Lastly I was disappointed to realize that, unless I am missing something, it does not have crimping capability. I would have thought (and indeed did assume) that would be a given for a bicycle cable cutter. But that was simply my mistake. So, they are fine and cut cable well but if I had it to do over again I would probably spend a bit more and go with a different set that had more features.
