Fits and works just fine
No problems at all, the replacement keyboard which is a Sony original product, fits the laptop correctly and works without problem. The black plastic cover which fits over the keypad between the keys does not come supplied.

It has now been fitted and working for a...
It has now been fitted and working for a while so I’m pretty happy with it. It replaced a nearly identical light which had been in use for over 10 years. The light has a safety feature where it will not work unless the diffuser cover is fitted which can break. However this is only a small issue.

Good as new replacement.
The keyboard works just fine after over a month of use. The keys all function normally and typing on it feels like the regular keyboard. It was relatively straightforward to fit.
