Suspect problems in quality control (not checking for freedome of paper movement) and design (smaller binding ring diameter)

This most recent experience was a repeat of problems I've had with several recent purchases of this specific brand of steno pad, a brand which I have use for at least 10 years, without issue. Many of the pages are stuck together at the top, between the top page tear fold and the small holes for the binding ting. Pulling the pages apart sometimes tears one or the other page off. This latest / later version of TOPS also seems to have binding rings of smaller diameter, which may contribute to the problem. This was the top of the line for steno pads. I will not buy this brand again.
