High quality tubeless tire, mounted by hand pump, strong sidewalls.
Sold as 559x58, Measures 57mm on an i29 rim, and 55mm on an i21 rim, at 35 psi. Continental tires will stretch a few millimeters over time. A stiff sidewall, proper tubeless tire of high quality. Mounts easily with hand pump to a non tubeless rim. Perfect bead diameter, a little tight to install, and then that pleasant and scary series of pops as the beads seat. Held air for a week with no sealant on the i21. This has low and even knobs and will roll well in most conditions. In front I've been running Trail King protection 559x60, and that's what it measures on an i23. It's saved me from washouts and certain doom, I'm totally impressed by the Continental tread patterns. The Trail King is mounted to a WTB TCS i23, these Cross King's will work even better on TCS rims. The 2.3 slightly smaller size of this Cross King is the largest that will fit on the rear of my late 90's 26 hardtail and suspension bikes, Although everything is right about 26" wheels, especially with larger widths and tires, I can't fight the wind. But I can stock up on tires and am fortunate and appreciative that yellowjerseysports made these available for a low price, buy a handful!

Fantastic value in economical, dependable clutch derailleur for 9 speed
1 of 1 found this helpful Engineered to the point: get the job done dependably. A little heavy, and lacking cartridge bearing pulleys, but an exceptional value. The tiny clutch off/on switch may not survive a hit. But what accurate shifting! It works perfectly with SRAM ESP 1:1 shifters, grip or trigger. Or with the Advent 9 shifter - I purchased the one with bearing. It will reach a 42 tooth cog without a hanger extender or B2 link like the Shimano XT RD-M8000 uses, making it compatible with most bicycle frames.
It is fantastic to ride rough trails and have the clutch keep the chain under control and on the rings. This is my go-to derailleur for 9 speed now!
