Carry one for emergency needs.
Perfect for those with deep rims. I will keep mine in my ride wallet in case I need an extra tube with a short stem. Very nice seal. Easy to use.

Pricey but excellent
1 of 2 found this helpful Excellent tech support via manual accessed via computer (search and find detailed directions). Could use so warnings about how to install the quick connect (it had been a few years since I'd worked with one and I almost made the error of not installing both pins simultaneously. Otherwise the chain went on very easily. Quiet operation. I've only had it installed for a few hundred miles so I can't speak to how long it will last, but the one I replaced had over 3,000 miles before it measured 1.0. The recommendation is to replace at .75 (according to the manual) so I will have my eye on that.
