Great Quality, fan translation, saves, but surpisingly sad story

Note: For those of you who've not played this game, you should know that its tone is much heavier and more somber than Earthbound (Mother 2). Though it retains the series' trademark silly weirdness, Mother 3 mixes in heavy doses of existential dilemma and outright tragedy, making it a truly unique gaming experience. It's as if Mother 3 was made for adults who played Earthbound as children - the game's tone reflects the jaded maturity of 90's kids who grew up to be 2017 adults.
