A long time fan is not disappointed.
1 of 1 found this helpful I like Severinsen-there is no question about that. I played the cornet in Jr High, High School, and in college for a couple of years, but I never came close to the virtuosity of Doc Severinsen.
Doc really shines in this album. The music is all bright and jazzy.
I wish they had picked a few more songs that I liked, but the music is all done very well.
Actually, I like the albums that feature more of him and less of the Tonight Show orchestra, but that is just me.
I really like some of the softer renditions in some of the other albums of Guantanamera and others, but maybe that may just be my age showing.
The first couple of albums I have of Doc's are from the 60s from the Command label, including Tempestuous Trumpet. He really was quite spectacular in those earlier works and he continues to operate in a super level in these later albums as well.

Good quality old digital camera.
Replaces older vg160 in worse shape. Battery life seems much worse, but I will just have to be more careful.

Sad excuse for a transaction
I am such a sucker. I should know by now that most of the time when someone on ebay advertises that they don't know anything about some camera accessory, but it looks good to them, it is a big fat lie.
First, it was listed as fitting both a Minolta and a Nikon.
Also, there is no way this belonged anywhere else besides "for parts or repair."
For a person who doesn't know much about the lens, it seems strange they were able to take it off the camera.
Also, it is odd that the lens that looks good was only photographed from the front (which the way it was depicted in the ad). If you photograph it from the side, it is obvious that the lens was dropped. The barrel of the lens is obviously askew.
I certainly would not ever buy a piece of photo equipment from this person again. I would be very suspicious of anything else this person was selling.
