Effective scar treatment
1 of 1 found this helpful I still use the product and find it very effective on scar tissue which is getting smaller after 3 months of treatment. It much more effective than the sheath version of the product.

Smell
0 of 1 found this helpful I don’t like the smell of the product. I had similar that I bought in Malaysia and the smell was much more fresh and nicer.

Dermatix Silicon sheath
I have used previously the dermatix gel which I was satisfied with but if you put the gel to an area where you wear close it will stain. This is why I choose the sheath version of the product which is pretty expensive. I thought this might be explained by the higher quality but today I don't think so. The problem is that it doesn't stick and comes off very easily. I tried to use plaster on it to cover and stabilize but it is not a 100% solution neither. I have used other brands sheath before for scar treatment which did not have this problem. It might be that the dermatix silicon sheath is efficient on long term but if it doesn't stick properly it is hard to know. Cicatrisation seems to be slower for the sheath than with the gel version. Anyway I will not buy again.
