Surprisingly good quality
2 of 2 found this helpful My first Singer. It arrived, got it unpacked, threaded the bobbin, scanned the booklet and was sewing within 15 minutes. It's easy to use, and the features enable lots of different sew projects. I bought it to make quilts and I understand I will need to buy a particular presser foot for the free movement stitches I intend to make. It came with two general presser foots (feet?) I haven't tried out all the stitches yet or sewn several layers yet, but according to reviews and utube videos I checked out, it appears this machine can accommodate what I need it to do. Research is good before you buy.
