Nice introduction to some great characters
2 of 2 found this helpful Although in black and white, this first season of a wonderful Western series is terrific. The introduction of the main characters is very well done, giving just enough background to get you interested in them. The two stars, John Smith as Slim Sherman and Robert Fuller as Jess Harper, slowly develop their relationship with each other and seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company. (Aside: they were best friends in real life, which may account for how completely comfortable they are in the series.) Hoagy Carmichael plays an interesting character, although he was replaced by several others during the run of the series, as was the young actor (whose name I can't remember at this moment) who plays Slim's brother. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys good, old fashioned cowboy shoot-em-ups and characters you can relate to. It's also interesting to see several veteran actors showing up in different parts throughout the series. There is some violence, but nothing that would be frightening for children, especially since there is usually a lesson or two included.

A real Ruckus
I've been thinking about this movie for years. I thought it was as good as Rambo, but no one even seems to have heard of it. I was so happy to find it on ebay. I enjoyed it as much as I did when I first saw it.

Much more than expected
1 of 1 found this helpful I wasn't expecting anything as nice when I ordered it, just wanted something to put my feet up on. It came all flat, but when I put it together, which took about three minutes, I was amazed. It was much bigger and far sturdier than I had thought it would be. Very pleased with the comfort and also the amount of magazines, etc. that I filled it with. Looks nice, too.
