The Piston
1 of 1 found this helpful This fire starter is well thought through. The theory does in fact work. The problem with many is that they can be difficult to use. Difficult to hold firmly , when I need it I am usually outdoors likely cold etc.
That is the beauty of this piston, it is encased in nice wood, easy to get a good grip. I have been able to get a ember on the first strike, occasionally. I show it to my friends. I am very happy...
