The Replacement
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this watch as a replacement for the exact same model which I originally purchased some years ago before going on a cruise but which I mislaid/lost? a couple of years ago. I am happy to find it is exactly the same as my original and keeps phenomenally accurate time. However I have since recovered my original example of the watch which is still in good order.
Standard clock and then set both watches to the same date/time etc. and have been running both in parallel for over a week now and side by side the two watches track each other exactly - to within a second of each other (for over a week now) and are still also tracking the Radio time check.
I am extremely pleased with both purchases

Disappointing. I find that after three or four exposures the camera 'Locks Up' and it is neccesary remove the batteries, then refit them. The camera will then switch on, the lens assembly then retracts and the camera switches off. You can then switch on again and get another three or four shots before the fault recurres.
It is a bit of a nuisance but I couldn't be bothered to send it back!

A Sensible Change
This bulb was purchased as a replacement for a central pendant lamp in our Dining Room which originally was fitted with a 100 watt tungsten bulb. Apart from the high consumption figure the ornate glass shade is not ventilated around the lamp socket and periodically the accumulated heat causes the cement holding the glass lamp-bulb to it's brass base to deteriorate resulting inthe weight of the bulb pulls it away from the base resulting in a flash/bang as the bulb drops to the floor leaving the base still held in the bayonet socket - opften blowing the fuse at the same time.
Now, with the aditional cost of an E27 Edison Screw lamp socket (£3.50) and half an hours work the dining room is illuminated to the same level as before even although the AURAGLOW is only listed as 60Watt Equivalent and consumption is listed at only 9 Watts, ie less than 10 percent of our original consumption for that room. As opportunity allows I shall be making similar changes in other rooms, replacing Tungsten lighting with LED with the intent of reducing that part of my electricity bill fulfilled by lighting, to hopefully reduced to around10 percent.
