Home, Agricultural use and general highly accurate information with this Davis Pro 2 Weather Station
I have looked at and researched Weather Stations for the past several years. We own several ranches and this particular unit with addtional accessories will transmit for up to several miles. The one I purchased can and would if I needed it to but it comes standard with a 1,000 ft. line of sight wireless transmission ability which is more than sufficient for most eastern ranches. It is highly accurate and is one of the primary units used by weather services to provide accurate weather ifomration for various pastures and fields. In the West it can provide you with weather from over the ridge or high in the alpine grazing range. The sensors are highly accurate and the unit seems to be well built. Finally you don't have to be a weatherman to understand and operate the unit or the home receiver. I wish I had purchased the Davis Wireless VAntage Pro 2 Wireless Weather Station sooner. Our Ranch has essentially 2 different eco systems with valleys and mountains. Great quality, good prices and valuable tool.

Same battery as manufacture but costs much less
Exactly the same battery as found on manufacures web sites for replacement but much less expensive. This is a no brainer - not an apples to oranges comparison an apples to apples comparison. Read the specifications on web sites of the manufacturer and this battery - they are exactly the same but costs much less.

Excellent product and Safe when mixed and applied as instructed and the person who applies the product is properly dressed.
1 of 1 found this helpful We have used this product for years especially on large weeds that propogate rapidly and cause damage to an agricultural field. We also use it in weaker proportions to contain the growth of grass and weeds around large lawns on our Ranch. Bottom line it works as advertised. Anyone who uses any type of Chemical including Roundup Concentrate should wear appropriate protective clothing and face mask and had protection. Our largest ranch in Florida which is farmed by a third party who also uses Roundup does so safely, efficiently and with precision of application. Do not use on windy days or you will lose plants.
