Um why did I only find out these exist in the last week?
If you need SSD performance with high capacity but are tight on cash you cant go wrong with these things. While not as fast as SSD, it's not noticeable in your every day tasks. Boot time appears to be as quick as an SSD, and operations like file navigation and application launching are snappy. Really impressed with this.

Perfect for car charger
This thing worked perfectly for passing through some fast charging USB outlets that I recently hardwired into my car behind the dash, tapping into the cigarette lighter power.
Those outlets now come up behind my cup holders :)
