Let it Ride is when a bettor who wins lets the entire amount won ride on his next choice.
The best fictional horse racing movie there is. In my younger days I spent a fair amount of time at the races, and the characters in this film made me feel like I was back at the track. Someone who's never been to a horse race may feel the characters are exaggerated, but they are not. I still remember the time I was handicapping a race when a somewhat inebriated gentleman began singing at the top of his lungs "make the world go away". This film is both accurate and very, very funny. One of my all-time favorites.

Mozix mop
I bought the Mozix mop to replace the Swiffer wet/dry mop, which I didn't like at all. I couldn't put pressure on the Swiffer for the tough spots, as the pad would come loose. I can put all the pressure I want on the Mozix and the pad stays in place. I realize the Mozix costs more, but this mop really does the job, whereas I consider the Swiffer a waste of money.

Atomic Beam Flashlight - as good as claimed?
2 of 2 found this helpful The flashlight is only about 5-1/2" long and takes 3 AAA batteries, but throws more light than an ordinary one taking 5 D batteries. I can walk into my garage, close the door so it's pitch black, push the button to turn on the light, and get a huge perfect circle of light that allows me to see the entire garage without any further movement of the flashlight. That perfect circle can be easily focused down to an intense small, tight beam that can throw light on something a good distance away. Press the button twice quickly and the strobe comes on. They claim the strobe could be a self-defense tool, disorienting the attacker. I figured this was just a TV claim, but when I got the lights (ordered 2, 1 for the house and 1 for the car) and turned the strobe on myself, I was blinded and disoriented immediately. They tell you not to look directly into the light as it could cause eye damage, and there's no doubt that could happen. Push the button quickly 3 times and the SOS pattern comes on, which could be a lifesaver in certain situations. The flashlight housing is quality anodized aluminum. You really need to get at least one; you won't believe how good this really is, and you can get one on ebay quite inexpensively. I got rid of some of my old flashlights as they would no longer be used.
