Perfect colors for flytying
The chenille is thicker than most. However, plump nymph fly with this body material should be more attractive for larger trout.

Priced right - service was exceptional
I have dealt with AvidMax before and they always seem to have fly tying products price better than other online competitors. Their service has also been exceptional.
As for the hackle pliers you pay for what you get. Quality!

Hubb peanuts vs Kirkland peanuts
I have tried Hubb large Virginia peanuts and they are very good. However their price, which includes shipping, is 50% higher than the Kirkland if the free shipping quantity is selected. There is a flavor difference between the two brands, but neither one is better than the other. So if there is no substantial quality difference it becomes a matter of price. I choose price and I'm very pleased I did. If I want something different I'd go back for a can or two from Hubb, but I'll be a loyal customer for Kirkland's too.
