Older machine, but good for basic needs
3 of 3 found this helpful I've been a "Mac Guy" for decades. Sure they have their quirks, but even older Mac's are quite useful. This iMac is one of them. I'm setting this particular machine up for our Au Pair who needs it for college oriented tasks. I upgraded the RAM to 8GB and it is running 10.11 El Capitan. I wouldn't describe it as "snappy", but it certainly gets the job done and at a great price.
