Pentium 4 Socket 478 bent pins
Although the processors do perform well now, I was disappointed to find many of the pins arrived bent in such a way that they would not drop into the motherboard connector.
Using a microscope and very fine forceps, I was able to bend the pins back to a proper position, a very tedious process.
The CPUs worked as advertised after that.
My suggestion to the supplier is that they package the chips in a much more protective package.
