Conflicts with the mower directional clippings chute
1 of 1 found this helpful This was suppose to fit the MTD mower. While it appears it does fit the mower grass opening, it does not do so without the total removal of the chute. Some have reported the top "brackets' hold up the chute which need not be dismounted, but on my standard MTD model, they do nothing. They cannot interface to hold up the chute and require a total removal of all chute hardware and mounting springs, etc.
