Quality product at a reasonable price
2 of 3 found this helpful The screen is easy on the eyes due to the fine resolution and the backlight. The kindle isnt heavy and easy to hold but not light enough and not tactile enough to hold for long. The surface is quality but easy to get scratched. It will develop scratches by the time your case gets delivered. The user interface is somewhat dated given the touch interface. I actually preferred clicking a physical button to turn pages. Touching screen to turn pages is annoying and slow. Perhaps they should make it more responsive as on ipad. Battery life is somewhat reduced on backlight and wifi but is pretty good. Overall very satisfied.
