Great little canner
I've used this canner 5 times now and it is great. I'm new to canning but it has become old hat to me already. I canned 10 lbs of chicken breasts, also 20 lbs chicken thighs, and pints of salsa. They all turned out wonderful. Chicken thighs, I marinated them raw as if I were going to bbq and they turned out SO GOOD!
I have a glass top stove and there isn't a problem with cracking the glass or anything like that because of it's relatively small size as far as canners go. The canner extends about 3/4" beyond the biggest burner which is acceptable, I believe.
The canner is very easy to use, just follow the simple directions in the included book. I feel very safe using this pressure cooker because of the fool-proof safety measures in the canner itself. Everything works like a charm.
It makes seven, one quart jars at a time which is just right for me. I did do back-to-back canning of chicken thighs making 14 quarts in about 5 hours because they turned out so good previously and they went on sale for $.99 per pound. I got the canner to can my garden, which hasn't ripened yet, but I feel ready to go later in the summer.
I don't see how you can go wrong with this canner. I personally am very happy with it. There are about 50 Utube videos online that will tell you how to use it, and so many things you can can. I see it as a great kitchen tool, that for a Saturdays worth of work, can save you MANY hours in the kitchen and store as you have your main dish already prepared.

Garmin wrist strap for Forerunner 610
The band that came with my Garmin 610 only lasted a brief time. Once you twist the pins out of the rubber of the band, they will never stay in again (glue won't stick to the rubber). You risk losing the watch somewhere on your run as it will fall off un-expectably. But with the watch still good, I decided to try this band kit. It is of much better design that the original one, and for Garmin to protect it's name, should have been offered as a replacement band for the original. It is priced at $20 which adds insult to the original purchase of a watch with a flawed design of the band.
This watch is not to be worn as an everyday watch as stated in the ad, or the band will quickly fail. You will have to wear the watch for the sport you are engaging in, then take it off. The new band seems much better in the design, made from much sturdier rubber (or plastic blend) and has the velcro strap which isn't ridged in adjustment. I really like the 610 to measure my data so I am now only wearing it to exercise then taking it off and replacing it with my Timex for regular everyday use.
If you have a Garmin 610 with a failed band (and $20), this will do the trick to keep using the watch. I have only had it a short time, but it seems to be superior to the original, with no trouble so far. By the way, I love Garmin and have many of their products. I'll give them the miscalculation on this one.

Just the best!
You can't go wrong here is you need a new tamper for your vita-mix. I can't tell the difference from the original one that came with the machine. Strictly quality.
