1 of 1 found this helpful There are major problems with the Ebay system. Some one or system bids against you and you do not get the product if you do not keep bidding and once you stop bidding, there is a very good chance that you will be awarded the bid if your bid is the second highest bid or beats the reserve price that the seller will accept. So all bids are suspect and you will pay a price for it that would not ordinarily get if subject to US Standards of Practice expected US auctions not related to ebay. When you win they hide notification under a different alphabet location that you are not likely to see and if you opt out of the bidding you will not see it if you have a lot of bidding. To counter this, never bid on more than one(1) bid at a time. My mistake was bidding on many items at a time assuming that ebay played fair and they do not. If you bid your will pay for it whether you lose it or not.

Back up equipment
with small tools it is always a good idea to have a back-up full set of tools. this is important especially when you are trying something new. One, such as myself, does not have the muscle memory to handle these tools to keep them safe. When one is use to larger tools, one tends to create similar muscle use to move bigger tools with more difficult situation. In my case, I tend to have trouble with small instruments when ones hands are big enough to palm a basketball.
So for some time one destroyed small fasteners like screws and ruin small tools like micro screwdrivers. Once you transition to the feel of small tools, then buying double things is not so much a necessity except for the need to have supplies as micro supplies as you begin to repeat your new found skills
