The best, easiest and fastest way to change your forend
1 of 1 found this helpful I have looked on youtube at videos on how to change out the forend on my mossberg 500. They involve taking the gun apart and some time to do so. All of that is not necessary with this tool. Simply remove the barrel and then use the tool to un screw the front forend nut. Remove the old forend and replace with the new one.
I replaced my stock wooded forend with a rubber Houge one. I needed to buy the extended Houge forend nut since I had the shorted slide tube on my gun. You can switch out forends in two min. with this tool. No need to dissemble the gun.
