Exactly what I needed!
I needed a volume/bass boost for driving higher impedance low sensitivity headphones. While my notebook has enough drive for my lightweight 30 ohm headphones, it simply doesn't have enough output for my 130 ohm noise isolation phones. This little unit provides more than enough gain overall and really enhances the bass response. Whether I'm listening to rock or classical pipe organ, I now get virtually concert hall realism!
I can find no fault with this device within the context of my application. The only little "gotcha" was that it is shipped with a 1/8" cable with four conductor plug - okay for a phone if you need a microphone connection. I simply replaced the provided cord with a three conductor version so that it would work with my notebook and we were good to go!

Cables Defective
Neither cable was functional. I checked equipment with known good cable - the two cables that were ordered are definitely defective. The only good thing is that I didn't spend much money. I hate posting a bad review but defective is defective!

Basic thermostat, simple, and works great
2 of 2 found this helpful I had the same thermostat for several years until a shorted 24vac control cable to the compressor/heat exchanger fried the A/C contacts in the thermostat (as well as destroying the 24vac control transformer.) I replaced the old transformer with this identical new one because I didn't need to replace the mounting base and I was quite satisfied with the flawless performance of the old thermostat. It is not programmable, so no "bells and whistles" but I don't need a more "advanced" thermostat since I am home all of the time. I believe this model is obsolete, but there still seems to be plenty of inventory at various vendors. Incidentally, this model provides a tight 1 degree temperature control cycle range - which I like!
