OK and lightweight design and may only improve VHF/UHF reception, but might not help much on 800 Mhz.
Not a bad antenna, but not quite exactly what I was looking for as far as to improve my reception. I was looking for an antenna to improve 800 Mhz range and it did sometimes, but I'd have to keep moving around my radio to improve my reception. VHF/UHF was fair to good. But moving the antenna to different positions didn't help all that much as far as improvement on all bands. Not a bad antenna, but just not exactly the one I was looking for.
