Very Flexible HOB Filter
well built filter. the best part is the flexibility of the filter media. you can custom it anyway you like, or just use the carbon/sponge/biomax media that comes with it. with other HOB filters, you have to buy prepackaged all in one filter media, which is not flexible. for example, i chose not to use the carbon filter bag. that leaves me more space to add bio max for example.
also, it was a little loud when i first primed it and got it going. then i just unplugged it for about 4 or 5 seconds and plugged back in. it got quiet then.
