The Wire, taught, tense, raw, real!
It may take you a bit of time to collect the entire series, but don't miss out. Each season is a newly stretched canvas and plays true to the bone. My husband was once a Bal'more policeman, Q & A and Dark Blue have been his two favorite movies Forever - Then came The Wire! Winner of award upon award, this series is compelling and challenging, insightful and touching. Take the full journey from start to end.

New Orleans and Treme Unite Again!
1 of 1 found this helpful From start to completion Treme pulls at your heartstrings and offers window to us as a people, us as a nation and the people, textures, tastes, sounds, scents and ether which New Orleans was and is. for those of us who enjoy something personal, a window offering more than a 45 minute glimpse, Treme is an almost visceral dramatization representative of an epic occurrence in our own lifetimes. A treasure in any film collection!

Preston Sturges one of the kings of comedy!
I like good, fast repartee complemented by relevant action and camera work that accentuates the story line. Preston Sturges' films are as spontaneous and vibrant today as when they were made. Give yourself a treat of you tire of trite sound bites and seek a more enlightened approach to life in cinematic form.
