Survival Horror
Bottom line: Dead Space is one of the best survival horror games you can play at the time of writing this review
Game play is well designed and controls are intuitive, objectives are easily identified, and challenge is variable according to players preference.
Graphically Dead Space is immersive, atmospheric, and genuinely creepy. (It has a play alone in the dark appeal if you're into that.) game direction and sound give the game an isolated claustrophobic element that keeps the tension during game play.
I personally prefer open world game play to linear game play like Dead space, however with out the game being linear the horror elements would have lost their edge regardless this game can be picked up pretty cheap these days so if you have a system to play it on it might be worth adding to your library... you could do worse trust me

For what it is
Though primitive by today's standards the DSI can be bought at pretty reasonable price and when compared to discount portable systems costing less than 50 bucks you get a lot of bang for your buck
It's wifi compatible which is nice, pico chat could still be useful if a buddy also has a ds. game library is decent though 2nd party games are admittedly pretty bad in comparison to titles with "Mario" in the title, Battery life is very good and the retro controls are nice so long as the game doesn't rely too much on "touch screen" controls
construction design of the DSI is near flawless in regards to portability as well as safe guarding the screen (unless you are rough with the stylus on those above mentioned "touch screen" controls.) Bottom line if care is taken the DS should last someone a long time. Accessories for the DS can also be bought for customization, Charger also works well and is designed for travel even inside a pocket .
Game prices for 2nd party games are dirt cheap however "what's in a name" goes along way on this system and as I mentioned earlier Nintendo trademarked titles are the way to go
Biggest flaw of the dsi is that its not backwards comparable which is a big shame, but could be almost forgiven if there weren't so many great GB Advanced games out there. Regardless for what it is, it's about the best economical buy in portable gaming at the time of me writing this

Like Fable?
Great Combat system, likable world, and dozens and dozens of hours in side quest to keep you playing
The story however is not compelling and though attacking the monsters has one of the most satisfying combat systems ever devised in my opinion (Think Fable 2 only better) you get a bit tired of slaying the same monsters over and over again
The color coded loot in your inventory screens is exciting as well
As far as RPG 360 games go, it's not quite Mass Effect 2 but The Reckoning could be brought up in that conversation at least
