Rear drag flap
I consider these to be a safety feature, It keeps rocks and debris from coming out and hitting the operator.

3 of 3 found this helpful I have seen this camera in use by friends. Now I can sa it is very easy to operate, the documentation with the camera is very easy to understand. This camera is very easy to hold and either use the screen or the view finder to take pictures. This is one that you don't need to take five pictures hoping one will be good enough to keep, all will be. It is a very capable camera and at a very affordable price. I would say a ten!
