Mechanics of this particular item not good. Perhaps it’s been dropped, or...?
Having previously owned a PM straightener I know it’s an awesome straightener to have hands down. However, this particular one came with issues. It was in nice condition on the outside, but not the case with the mechanics of it. It’s either been dropped, or the two blades have been pulled apart pretty rough, which has thrown off the bringing together of the plates. They do not meet completely. There’s a gap when bringing the plates together. I have to use pressure to clasp them. Good investment in the warranty.
