Multi-use
Clearly meant to be used around computers, this is also a nifty fan for travellers who want to carry a small. light weight fan "just in case".

Woodcarving Tool Set that Fits In Your Pocket
The SWK makes a great woodcarving tool. Models with two blades are best, as you can re-shape the smaller blade slightly for finer work. The blades are thin (making them easy to sharpen) and of excellent steel (giving them blades that keep great edges). And the book is full of great ideas for woodcarving and whittling projects.

Your new best friend
Opinel knives have been around for well over 100 years. What makes them so special? Well, the thin blade make slicing a joy not a chore, and it also make the knife easy to sharpen. If a buddy accidentally walk off with the Opinel in his pocket or pack, it is not going to take next month's wine allowance to replace it with new one. The lock is simple and secure. It comes in many sizes for different sized hands. The innovative sheath/pouch is comfortable to wear and conforms to whatever seating is available. If I had a dime for every European Scout I've seen with an Opinel, I could pay for your dinner tonight. Instead of using a sheath/pouch, they often drill a hole in the handle (some Opinels come pre-drilled), pass a cord through the hole, and carry the knife around their necks. There may still be available an official Scout Opinel. The new sheath/pouch can easily be worn around the neck by running a cord through standard issue caribiner or belt loop it comes with. I especially like the Opinel for cooking duties. It takes a good edge, the blade is not going to come back and bite me, and it is easy to clean. I have bought two Opinels in the past two months or so: one is seeing duty in Guatemala and the other is being used by a Scout in Mexico. It is a great little knife!
