The difference is amazing
Our water contains so many minerals that the humidifier left a thick coat of fine white dust on everything. With this filter there's still a bit of white dust I must admit, but the difference is AMAZING. Not only is there much less mess to clean but I don't worry about breathing whatever is in the air. I'm sure it must be good for the humidifier too. I will definitely buy more.
