Poorly engineered magazine. Shame on Ruger...
1 of 1 found this helpful The plunger inside the mag will not freely move up and down when you are loading. The plunger gets stuck at the bottom when loading the last couple of rounds thus letting all the rounds that you have loaded fall out. Ruger sent me new ones that are a little better but still fail half the time. It is very poor engineering to put one small coil spring on one side of the slide. That plus they are painted and not stainless steel which contributes even more. Oil doesn't help, just a bad product.
