4 of 6 found this helpful Have had it in watch for only a month or so and will not hold a full charge. The original capacitor that came with the watch lasted 5-6 years before loosing full charge and then maybe another year before it did not work, all in all a sorry performance for a stock seiko cap. My father got a kinetic in 1978 as a gift and the cap lasted till 1996 and that is after it had been sitting for about 2yrs.
P.S. Just for general info I am a 30+ year veteran in electronics and automated equipment maintenance specializing in micro electronics and I can tell you if you do not have a good eye and a steady hand DO NOT try to replace this capicitor your self, even for me I had to modify my smallest screwdriver to complete the work.
