Godsend!
I totally concurr with other purchaser's five star reviews; there are a lot of 'em out there, but this example makes excruciating restroom visits finally tolerable, as I have (metastatic to hip & derriere bones) prostate cancer with attendant pain, & loss of "natural flesh" cushioning when seated on the planks they call commode seats! ..

"Old School" SONY CRT professional monitor
3 of 3 found this helpful I've been in the TV repair business all of my life and I am pleased to say that this product was a landmark design and is the pinnacle of the XBR types of Sony CRT sets beginning way back with the early Trinitrons. Although I acquired mine as a low hours trade-in set from my Sony authorized dealer & servicer employer, I was pleased from the start! As a repair technician I found it to be far superior to the competition manufacturers and after correcting a minor "glitch" ( faulty high voltage resistor block that caused an intermittent horizontal deflection "wobble" (width), it has performed perfectly ever since! As a Betamax repair specialist, I would highly recommend it with those video recorders over today's flat panel HD designs which are more suitable for digital video sources. Obsolescence aside there will always be collectors and enthusiasts devoted to probably the most regarded and innovative Japanese electronics companies of all time! ("one and only"). I hope no one ever considers "recycling" of this particular product - even the thought of that makes me feel ill...
