Misadvertised lamp dimmer

It did not do what I expected. I wanted it to dim the lamp. It wasn't until I read I had read the warning in the last sentence of the description that I discovered this was for incandescent bulbs only. Why sell something for incandescent bulbs when those bulbs can no longer be sold in the U.S.? This product promotion was desceptive.
