Product for its demographic
1 of 1 found this helpful I am writing this review as a word of warning to the female demographic thinking of repurposing this beard shaver, like other males, as a pubic shave - to not use this for your lady parts.
This powder is a blunt instrument that would work effectively on its intended audience and function. I have not much hair anywhere on my body. But i had seen other men doing it and the results seem to have been pretty impressive. However, a man's parts have only an exit hole, a women unfortunately works differently, and their hole works two-way rather than just one. The exposed nature of our lady parts is not ideal for a product that chemically burns hair away.
On its first use, yes, it is effective. I tried it on small sections of my legs to a pleasing effect, with no burns or allergies. I then applied a small amount of about 2 tablespoons to my tender area, and after the wait, the hair could be pulled off. Unfortunately, it does not weaken the roots for some reason, and you get effectively the same result you would have with a razor and a rough few swipes. Prickly.
I waited a bit more than the recommended 36 hours to try again, trying to get in harder to reach areas, and like all females, starting from where the skin is pink, that is where chemicals should not be. Not only was the product not effective in eradicated most, if not all the hairs near the centre. I noticed redness and pain after.
This product should only be used by men, or by those with beards, and has no business anywhere near the lady area. Legs are great, if i had leg hair i could use this to some benefit, but unfortunately not only does this make me weary of chemical shaves, but also disappointed that the male result on stick, balls and butt was so great, but not on females, and darker hair, i might add.
I don't know what else to do about my lady area. Hope it gets better, and only use this sparingly on the surface, for when my menstruation comes around...
