Fully loaded edition brimming with illustrations. Much improved over the 1957 issue.
Lost my original issue manual in a home fire. Recently renewed my interest in sailing and decided to buy the manual. Haven't stopped reading since it arrived. The content was compelling in 1957 when I joined the Navy, it still is today. Item value is unbeatable at the price for a hardcover edition.

Not desired but not unwanted
The only thing I dislike about it is that I was looking for a higher performance PATA drive replacement for my laptop. I neglected to read the ad carefully enough and wound up with a new and perfectly good SATA drive. Fortunately, I have a USB SATA docking station and am able to use this well-appointed drive readily and successfully for external storage and backup. The ultimate beauty of this product is that it served to enlighten me to the interchangeable use of the term PATA and IDE/EIDE. The high value of knowledgeable and discriminating buyers cannot be overrated.
