Stupid request to review

Its not Hype the, they really are 130% brighter.
My headlamp bulbs were bought for my Honda ST1300 motorcycle. With the standard H4 60/55wbulbs the headlamp on this model is pretty much one of the best you can get anyway. I have a crystal perspex headlamp lens protector on this headlamp and I think it was having some effect on the light penetration at a distance. I rode my bike home this evening after dark for the first time with these Philips bulbs and WOW ! the difference is astounding. The claim to be 130% brighter is no advertising hype. They're worth every pound for an upgrade.

They don't make them like this anymore,(YES THEY DO) !
We wanted to get a pair of basin taps that matched all the others in our bathroom. The ones on the basin came supplied with the basin. I don't know when the trend (or habit) began of making sanitary ware out of aluminium but the person who introduced the idea should made to live with the consequences.
These Attersall Coronation taps are proper brass with decent hard chrome finish. The way that all plumbing fittings used to be made all of the time.
The taps that these replace had only been in for 18 months and I had to dismantle them twice to de- corrode and clean them up and twice had to replace the washers to compensate for the wear that had taken place.
I like these proper brass taps. They feel substantial and the of course being brass the chrome plating won't just pit and start to flake off after just looking at water.
What amazes me is that these cost half of what a similar pair of weedy aluminium ones cost down at my local plumbers warehouse.
Quality at a brilliant price.
