A good find only needing a little effort.
The HP Deskjet 1050 (not a 1055) prints fast & with great quality. Copies are also good. Haven't used scan yet. That's the good news.
Bad news, It's an HP. That means the cartridges are 'protected'. That means HP wants me to buy only their cartridges. Fortunately, I found suppliers that have a work-around with ink cartridges at a reasonable price.
As far as easy set up goes, it is yes & no. I had to find cartridges that worked first. With three functions, each one had to be set up separately. HP is still supporting the 1050 J410 series, so drivers & firmware were available. That's good. A good buy, cheaper than the going price.

Not perfect, but good buy
The good - this is a quality tablet. the construction is 1st rate. the a/c adaptercharger cord has a strong plug, not one of those little 2.5 mm things and serves as the usb connector as well.
The bad - well, not too bad. the choice of apps is not good.
the ugly - it is a google android o.s. that would have been good to know. I hated the first one I owned. hate this one too. I worked around it before, I can again.

The 2 DDR3 memory cards were received much earlier than predicted. Packing was marginal - wrapped in paper towel and plastic bag. I prefer static resistant bags for mobo parts. Cards work fine in an old ECS H81H3-M3 mini ATA board.
