Manufacturing defects.
Cannot be installed per instructions as severe damage to the drywall will result.
In order to sit flat on top of the heater, the rear flange should be bent up, not down. The back panel needs to have 0.5 inches cut off on the bottom. NOW, THE BLOWER ASSEMBLY fits on top of the heater, in any position from front to back.
Access holes should be cut in the bottom, allowing the automatic switch to be controlled by convection and conduction. Once these modifications are implemented by Williams, then
it becomes good value and good quality.
My Williams heater was supplied with a defective thermostat. I have installed a Honeywell
thermostat, same size as the Williams, but of superior design.
My heater is working perfectly, my sun room is just perfect, and the price was good.

No cogging, very good design.
Crimp tool missed the white wire, resulting in one phase open. Repairs required soldering
this wire , and sliding the red heat shrink tubing into the alternator and retightening the
strain relief clamp.
