XIM 11055 primer sealer

As with many American companies the advertising hype is better than their product. I read that it would stick to HDPE and before I ordered it I called Rustoleum's technical support line and queried it. The "technician" said yes it would bond to HDPE. When the can came I read the instructions and it says it WON'T stick to HDPE! I've tried on a few other no HDPE items and it's no better or worse than many other primers - just pricier.
