Excellent Book!!! A must read Book!!
It was a summer reading book for my daughter in high school. I'm so glad I decided to read it too. The book is an inspiration. I am not African American nor Jewish, but I feel that the writting in this book applies to all mixed/interacial families and their struggles to fit in the community. The author explains everything so well, at times I found myself crying. I wish they had included more pictures so I can put a face to the names. I loved the book, I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Mr. Mcbride for such a great book!
