They don't make them like they used to anymore. This is the good old one.
Sturdy, dependable. Big and bulky but has a lot of juice. Batteries are easy to get.
Pop a network card in for a more fun experience.
It can come with a various type of plug (round 3 pin, flat 20 amp, normal plug), you can change it or get an adapter. Adapters are cheap.

Buggy hardware! don't use with channels other than 1, or with older keyboards. Might work with newer ones
1 of 1 found this helpful Works fine with Korg k61 but does not with Yamaha sy33 - notes get stuck in "on" state.
My other keyboard sends on channel 9, and this device every other time sends a "note off" on channel 1 instead of 9, resulting in a stuck note.
Buggy.
For comparison, I also have M-audio Uno, which works perfectly with every keyboard.

PDU is great, network card is finicky
1 of 1 found this helpful The PDU itself is good, i have a few of these. Switches power supply, just need like 20 second delay before switching back - or it resets and all the loads reset too.
The network card (SNMP web card) has buggy software. It can get locked out - you can't connect, in which case the only way to get it back is doing something to it via console cable. Pressing reset button doesn't reset it. Google the firmware upgrade, the instructions are in the zip. I haven't tried it myself, i just replaced the card with the working one.
But if it works, it can do many things like switching on/off the loads, SNMP, configuration, etc.
Obviously you can nowadays only connect to it via ssh or telnet. For http it uses java plugin (yikes)
