Quality product. Better fit than OEM
If anyone has bought a genuine Canon lens hood they will know how poor the fit is and how easily they can come unclipped.
This hood is different again as it has a proper lock button on it and feels very secure on my Nifty Fifty lens.
I would definitely recommend this product as it feels a quality item and will be looking to get more for my other lenses.

Robust piece of kit
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to find a seemingly well made and robust piece of photography kit.
It is a basic selfie stick with no wireless gizmo's but that was what I was after just to hold a camcorder away from me while making You Tube video's and if I need remote triggering I can rig something up if needed.
The sections are sturdy with strong locking over-centre clips and the knuckle and mount at the end is substantial without being too bulky, it incorporates a small mirror to check your framing but it's too small to be of practical use and the optical quality is not good with being chromed plastic but only a small point.
I like the fact that the knuckle at the end has graduated sprung loaded clicks which means you only have to give the lock-nut a nip up rather than tightening the living daylights out of it and possibly breaking it, the standard mounting threads are as to be expected with a male on the business end and should you need it, a female at the handle end.
All in all a basic but nice item, one that will last indefinitely treated with respect.
