Great battery kit
Great product, exactly as shown. Comes with the pentalobe and hex drivers, meaning you don't need any extra tools to do the repair. Expect to take less than 30 minutes to swap batteries. Recommended.

The best way to make your old laptop like new again!
I put this drive in my first-generation MacBook Pro. This computer is equipped with SATA-1, not SATA-2, but there are no problems using it. While SATA-1 limits the throughput of the drive to 1.5Gbps instead of the 3.0Gbps the drive is capable of, it still makes a tremendous difference over a standard, platter-based hard drive.
Today's operating systems are comprised of many tiny files, accessed in a relatively random order. This is why SSDs are so much faster than standard hard drives, and this drive is no different. Launching applications is about 4x faster than a 5400RPM hard drive. Booting takes about 7 seconds; shutdown occurs in less than 2. (Mac OS X 10.6.8)
With the Trim Enabler application (Google it), support for TRIM is enabled in Mac OS X 10.6.8 with a single click and helps prevent the performance of the SSD to degrade over time.
The physical size of the drive is smaller than the thinnest platter-based hard drives I've seen. The drive is only 7mm thin, 2mm thinner than "thin" hard drives and 5.5mm thinner than "fat" laptop hard drives. It's also very light, helping to reduce the weight of your laptop.
Intel says this drive will last for 5 years, writing 20GB of data per day. Most people don't write that much data daily, except for hard-core downloaders. For those people, the smaller capacity of an SSD makes it a poor choice over a large-capacity hard drive. Because of this, I've heard of many people using the SSD as their boot drive for their computer, holding the operating system and applications, and using a standard hard drive for data and downloads.
TL;DR: This is an excellent drive that will amaze you with its capabilities.

Only for low current applications
18650 cells can handle very high current loads. This battery holder, however, cannot. As long as you're using this for low current loads, it is fine. If not, you will see what I saw -- the negative connector glowing orange due to small gauge wiring and spring connectors.
