You get what you pay for

The item come in two parts: base/column and the bowl. Unfortunately, when the base of the column is placed onto a hard, flat surface known to be level, the column is not "true" in the vertical sense. As a consequence, the top of the column on which the bowl is placed is both not horizontal relative to the ground, and is not flat.
Similarly, the undersurface of the bowl isn't flat - when placed onto a flat surface the top of the bowl isn't level.
Tried to counter one lean against the other but to no avail - the top of the bowl will never be horizontal to the ground.
So, the only option is to cement the two parts together and live with the lean on rder to make the bowl horizontal.
Maybe this is normal to cement them together but it should be made clear in the description.
On the other hand, compared with others we looked at, at twice the price, maybe I.m expecting too much for the money?

Great value and a great book
Not read most of it yet, but v informative so far and best of all, it was much much cheaper than on Amazon!

Very convenient
1 of 1 found this helpful Wanted a small, lightweight hand-held vacuum cleaner for the stairs - we have two flights over 3 floors.
So much more convenient with not having a lead training behind; very light to hold; not having to unplug/re-plug over three floors. The battery easily lasts long enough for this task.
Doesn't hold much but it's easy to empty and the capacity is on a par with other, comparable brands.
Good to pay less and still have the year's guarantee. You'd be hard pressed to know it was a refurbished one - everything you get with a brand new one is included, nothing missing.
