The correct replacement, but...
This is the correct FOB replacement for a 2006 Honda Civic EX. However, you can't really REPLACE the plastic FOB from your key using this like I thought. The klmetal key does not unscrew like it does in the original key FOB. You have to have a whole new key cut from this replacement. If you are only looking to swap components from each key to replace the plastic shell from your key, this item is not for you. If you are looking to replace your whole key, however, this is the perfect replacement once you have the key cut to your specific vehicle.
